Anti-War March in St. Paul

More than 1500 people protested the war in Iraq on September 15, marching from the cathedral in St. Paul, by way of the Xcel Center - the scene of next year's Republican Party national convention - to the State Capitol.

Veteran anti-war protester Marv Davidoff was one of the organizers of the Honeywell Project in the 1960's. The group demonstrated against the Minnesota-based company which at the time, produced bombs for the US military. He says protest is still necessary and organizing is the key. Another activist speaks against counter-protesters’ position that peace activism is opposed to the military.
