Jacquie Lady J Maddix is a 28 year veteran broadcaster in radio and television, a vocalist and percussionist who has appeared around Minnesota with her band: "LadyJ Griot & Her Root Doctors", blending blues history, live music and root wisdom into one expression. Her radio show, Rollin & Tumblin, is a reflection of her deep roots in blues music and her belief that blue is the color of the soul.  Look for her publication "Drawing Down The Blessings" soon to be available. The Rockhouse

It is with deep sadness and regret that KFAI notes the passing of Brother Tad Selzer, host of The Rockhouse.  Though it was unexpected, Tad died peacefully on Wednesday, July 4th with loved ones near.    There will be a celebration of his life at The Turf Club in St. Paul at 2pm on Saturday, July 28th.
